I remember a couple of meetings in Phoenix, at one I met Martin Luther King's attorney and I gave her a big fat hug. It was awesome!

On another occassion there was a meeting at one of the schools and I gave Cindy Sheehan a big hug too. Even tho she hugged me back, she didn't know me. I told her as she walked away that we had her back. These songs are reflective of that I hope. What Noble Cause, George Bush, you sack of crap?

I was sitting with a Code Pink friend of mine and we were both crying as Cindy told her story of losing her son, Casey. (I hope she still knows that we support her and WE have NO plans of backing down.)

I also had the opportunity of meeting the 'Kids' from Loose Change and that was pretty thrilling as well. They have come a long way in our movement and I am so proud of all they do.

I've been having a slump lately and dealing with depression so I decided to listen to some of my favorite songs and thought I'd share them with you. Be sure and watch the Rocky Raccoon video as it will tug on your heart strings. (It did mine anyways and hopefully it'll make you smile>)

My kids got me the video of Achy Breaky Heart back in the day and the following song was one of the songs on it. (It seems that it was popular during or right after the first Gulf war???) .......anyways I was later to have a wonderful friend who had served in that war and his experiences were horrific........

David had to make the decision of saving his Lt. or his best friend and due to the training he had to save the Lt. (He later shared with me that he wished he'd made a different decision as he knew his best friend had his back not matter what and that didn't turn out to be the case with his Lt.)

After all that he went thru in that dumbass war he was treated like Shit a Meta Svcs. During the time we were together and sorta kinda going out, his 17 year old niece was killed in a car accident and when her mother heard of it she screamed out in pain and had an annurism....... they had a double funeral. The EVIL people at Meta didn't even send a card or anything. (Lori Ashcraft and Gene Johnson) If you will remember I shared with you that they had an evil devil worshipping site on the net.

BTW, my friend David Ybarra had a most difficult time getting any of his benefits from the VA. It was dispicable how they treated him.
